indium tin copper

A Study of Indium/Lead Solders

Indium/Copper Intermetallics Some concern regarding indium intermetallic formation with copper exists due to previous studies.2 However, what should be noted is that this testing was performed at 150°C, which is a condition that is suitable for any soft solder including tin/lead. More pertinent tests on indium/tin and indium/lead have since been

Microstructure and creep of eutectic indium/tin on copper ...

The behavior during creep in shear of eutectic indium-tin joints on copper and nickel substrates was examined in order to determine the effect of creep deformation on the microstructure of the alloy. Primary creep was absent in all the samples tested. The stress exponent at 20° C was much higher for samples on nickel than for those on copper, indicating a different creep deformation mechanism.

Chemical Information Profile for Indium Tin Oxide

indium oxide and tin oxide powders are blended together then compacted by hot or cold isostatic pressing or by sintering to make ITO sputtering targets (compressed blocks of ITO powder). ITO may be formed directly during a coating process, e.g., reactive sputtering from indium-tin alloy targets in the presence of oxygen.

Indium has a low melting point for metals and above its melting point it ignites burning with a violet flame. Bizarrely, the pure metal of indium is described as giving a high-pitched "cry" when bent. This is similar to the sound made by tin or the 'tin cry", however, neither of them is really much like a cry!
